An apple a day

I start each painting session by doing a quick warm up of an apple on a 8x8 inch board. I chose an apple for the simple shape and variety of colors. I spend 20 minutes or less and just paint. I planned on doing one a day for a year, but life slowed me down a bit and here I am five years later with 315 apple paintings. I'll keep going until I reach 365 but my overly ambitious dreams went out the window.
I have my art work in a gallery in Bemidji MN run as a non profit organization. They fund a Christian school in Uganda. They do great work.
Check out their website.
HANDS OF ACTION, INTERNATIONAL/ Bemidji
I have decided to sell these paintings for
$50. each and donate $25. to the organization.

Titles can be so boring so I started to chalenge mt self by writhing a Haiku poem for each painting. For those of you who dozed off in poetry 101 Haiku is a Japaneese poetry with three lines. First line 5 syllables, Second line 7 syllables Thirs line 5 syllables.
